Media

Our site currently does not allow anyone to sign up to post to the site. All forms of media are strictly under the jurisdiction of the site administrators.

Cookies

Cookies are currently restricted to administrators who login through the site’s administrative access point. This cookie is temporary and is only active as long as the administrator is logged in. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When an administrator logs in, the system will also set up several cookies to save login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If the “Remember Me” option is selected, the login will persist for two weeks. Upon log out, the login cookies will be removed.

If an article is edited or published, an additional cookie will be saved in the browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article that was just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor interactions with that embedded content, including tracking interactions with the embedded content if the user has an account and is logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If an administrator requests a password reset, the IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If a comment is left, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is in order to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), personal information that is provided as part of the user profile is stored. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

Users with an administrative account or that have left comments can request to receive an exported file of the personal data that this site holds, including any other data the user has provided. Users may also request that any personal data be erased. This does not include any data that is obligated to be kept for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

If comments are enabled, visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
