NEW for 2024 – The CENTRAL CANADA KAYAK TRAIL

Kickerfish is proud to announce the launch of the Central Canada Kayak Trail. This new series of kayak angling tournaments will be comprised of two events in Manitoba and two events in Northwest Ontario. Every competition is catch, record, release with the target species varying from bass, walleye, or both. The trail is open to all with no prior experience necessary and no requirement to enter every tournament.

Tournament Schedule

Stop #1 – LAC DU BONNET – May 19

Stop # 2 – PELICAN LAKE – June 23

Stop # 3 – SHOAL LAKE – August 18

Stop # 4 – LONGBOW LAKE – September 1

Entry fee to each event is $200. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 25% of the field for each tournament. The Angler of the Year will be a sponsored Grand Prize (details TBA) awarded to the angler with the most points at the end of the season. Points are based on each angler’s best three tournament finishes.

Each event will be livestreamed on our Kickerfish YouTube channel featuring our popular Live Leaderboard with on-the-water coverage and commentary.
